Calum Carmichael\u2019s\u00a0Ideas and the Man: Remembering David Daube<\/i><\/a>\u00a0has been published by\u00a0Klostermann Verlag<\/a>. Daube was a thinker and scholar whom Benardete greatly admired.<\/p>\n

Vincent Renzi\u2019s\u00a0review<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Encounters and Reflections <\/i>was\u00a0published Nov. 26, 2003 in the\u00a0Bryn Mawr Classical Review<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The Archive received a $10,000 grant from a foundation that recognizes the importance of Benardete\u2019s work. The gift, which had been offered in early 2003 as a 2-for-1 challenge grant, matched donations from Benardete\u2019s students, friends and colleagues. Many thanks to all who contributed.<\/p>\n
